    Hello Everyone  4 months ago

I’m glad Tuberville finally relented somewhat. He is still holding up some appointments, but I guess this is a compromise. The Senate’s really got to change its rules though.

Tommy the tuber only backed down as it was pointed out to him there’s an election next year and a lot of red state voters have family in the military.

Archaic senate rules allowed him to do this.

I hope that a World War II Pearl Harbor survivor visits the US Senate today and beats the Holy Tar six ways out of Tuberville today.

While we’re here. Let’s remember the attack on Pearl Harbor and all that followed.

Needs to be a ten star from the massive blows struck on his thick head. Every time he wants something for Alabama (or is it Georgia?) {assuming that he’s actually working for his constituents} his fellow Senators should retort “Not yet, you have to wait until the military has been healed from your vain, ineffective political stunting, not yet”.

According to the WW2 museum, of the over 16 million Americans who served in the war, less than 120,000 are still alive.

Confederate insurrectionist Republicans hate the USA and the Constitution and want to change it to suit their crazy fascist ideas.

I was finally able to visit Pearl last year. It’s sobering to say the least.

He is a disgrace to the country, Congress, and should be to his party and constituents. In the case of the later two, if he isn’t a disgrace then they are.

It almost makes me think that a requirement to be a representative or president should include service in the military, Peace Corps, or Vista.

Do constituents begin to wonder, “What made us elect a football coach to the Senate if not to bring shame on us?”? Well he does look the part. Confine him to being a congressman on soap operas from now on.
