And the flowers in the vase changed position all by themselves!

You can’t hide a diamond {refractive index n = 2.418) in water {n = 1.333). Even glass (n = 1.5) is visible in water. And any liquid that could hide either substance would kill the fish.

    Try FNT’s flower vase.

I figured the fish bowl because the diamond would be transparent in the water.

When I compared the frames, I noticed the flowers were moved so I thought the diamond was hidden there.A diamond so big it made the water rise so much would be too big to hide in the gravel on the bottom of the fish bowl.

Getting the search warrant before alerting the suspect that he’s a suspect would’ve been a good idea…

I also thought it was the flower vase. As pointed out, a diamond large enough to make the water level in the fishbowl rise could not be buried in the gravel, and a diamond would be easy to spot in water. The vase is

The diamond might be residing with Icy — someplace beyond the reach of even the sun’s rays.

Interesting dialog. Icy says “When I’ve seen that search warrant” and Danger replies “No need to”. Unless Danger is very careful, he is going to blow any case against Icy.

If I might offer an alternative solution:

The diamond is inside one of the fruit beneath the lamp. It was there when Danger first called. Icy expected a properly prepared police caller, so hid the stone at once.

When Danger went away with intent to return, Icy changed the fish tank water level and the roses, to draw Danger’s interest to them.

    So, Danger fell for it.
