Dean: Wait, I have to get popcorn. I can't sit through a movie without a big thing of popcorn. Oh, and give me your ticket stub... I save them. Dean: And just so you know, if the trailers started, we have to wait for the next showing. I can't miss any trailers, especially at a "star wars" movie. Heart: If I knew there were going to be so many rules, I would have stayed home and played "stratego." Dean: Oooo! We can do that after!
Family trivia:
When the first Star Wars movie came to Vancouver, the film print (it was the 70’s, remember) didn’t arrive on time for the much-hyped premiere showing at the Orpheum. My brother and friends were disappointed, but hung around downtown for the evening, then heard it on the radio that the print had landed and they were putting on a midnight showing. They raced to the theatre and got in on the very first showing.

One whole year later, I attended the very last showing at that theatre.
