It’s interesting to see how ideas reappear in popular culture. 20 years ago, Klasky-Csupo (Rugrats, Simpsons, etc) made a pilot called “Slop & Roadkill” with a hog on a Harley and his cat passenger(the cat was run over and had tire marks on him). They wanted to jump the Grand Canyon as a goal. No one ever saw it, aside from animation geeks. Hope your strip goes well—nice start!
Here we go! Congratulations, Dan!
Well, I’m hooked on Haywire, might as well see if Harley is any good.
Heck yeah! good luck with the strip, Dan. Harley is Great
Rip Haywire, Brevity, Lost Sheep (repeats), KidSpot, and now Harley. Many have tried doing more than one comic strip, many have failed (I won’t name names—they know who they are!). All I can say is, you’ve come this far, don’t stop now! Good luck, Dan!
I’ll have to show this strip to my Harley riding lady friend (she’s a friend and a lady, so don’t jump to the wrong conclusion!)
All the best Dan.
This looks awesome, I’m now following ‘Harley’ & ‘Rip Haywire’! Your style is great :D Looking forward to reading posts from the past! Melissa Lomax (Creator of Doodle-Town)
Great comic strip. Reminds me of a classic Wizard of Id comic.
Dan have you ever read any of the old CycleToons from the 60s and 70s by Petersen Publishing? A lot of the same kind of humor. Back when riding was for fun, not for posing.
Fabulous stuff, Dan! Congrats and good luck!
Good one. I put it on my list.
Well, look at that! A feline TNT. I like it already!
I like it! Best of luck, Dan!
Welcome and Happy Trails. ; )
In my queue!
