Actually had to shut my balcony door last night! It got a tad chilly in Central PA! No AC yet! (And I don’t have one, anyway. Keeps the electric bill down)
I grew up in FL back in the 60s/70s and even though this was before it got so stupid hot, I was always miserable during the summer as our house did not have central AC, only a window unit in my parents’ room and one of those huge attic fans for ventilation. The fan would have been OK at night except our father insisted that our bedroom doors be closed at night so that the fan would keep the downstairs cooler for his drinking sessions. I always swore that when I grew up and was making my own money, I would keep the AC as low as I wanted it. And I do!! The one who pays gets to set the temperature!!

I figure if you have A/C you bought it to stay comfortable. Use it.
