Of course, they’re usual called “malapropisms” from a character in a play called “The Rivals.” Or Dogberryisms from a character in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Or Archie Bunker-isms.
I just wish he would start using other characters or bring in a few “new” ones. Joel and Rufus just can’t carry a strip for long. They are best in minimal doses.

I enjoy the artwork in the scenes in the junkyard and when Joel and Rufus walk in town. Railroad scenes are especially nice.
