If they’re looking on right now, I’m pretty sure most of them are not resting in peace. I was rejected for the Vietnam debacle (they figured that with my bad eyes, I would be able to frag officers without consequence just by losing my glasses first), but my father served in WW II, voted Republican his entire life (so far as I’m aware) and would have been pushing… hard… to get rid of this menace who stands for nothing that my father (or I, or my family) stand for. And is a coward to boot.
The unfortunate fact is they didn’t die for our freedom, they mostly died for big oil profits since 2001. No one we have destroyed since 911 was a threat to the great Satan.
