Lyman: Doesn't it bother you that your cat is always underfoot? Jon: Not at all. Garfield is very fond of me. We're inseparable, aren't we, Garfield? Garfield: You're standing on my tail.
I don’t buy it, Jim. First of all, Garfield is NOT always underfoot. He simply is not, you are wrong about this particular Garfield fact. Second of all, I don’t think that Garfield (the cat) would be quite so calm and serene about his tail getting stepped on. Third of all, I think you’re one of our era’s greatest artists and even the greats make mistakes. It’s important to recognize those mistakes however, and I hope to hear from you soon. Appreciate it, sorry about Godard. Although really, it’s your fault when you think about it. (French)
