Zeno's Paradox Zeno of Elea was a Greek philosopher best known for his argument that motion is an impossible illusion. He asserted that to reach a destination, first the midpoint must be reached. And to reach the midpoint, first the quarterpoint must be reached. This logic continues infinitely to the conclusion that motion is not possible... "Zeno didn't come into work today, and just wait until you hear his excuse!"
