Note to parents: Orthodontists are out to make money. Make sure your child REALLY needs braces before putting him/her through this lengthy, painful procedure, and that they will grow into naturally healthy teeth on their own without them. Get more than one recommendation and do your research. Braces on too long will kill enamel and cause problems later. I speak from experience.
