If I were a cartoonist, would I be working for Peanuts?
Seriously, the veritable reason for which you can’t bring peanuts to a school is that the Muslim students will yell at your ‘infidel’ kids for eating during the Ramedam.
Solution? Schedule all classes from sunset to sunrise; in that way all could share in ‘break..ing the…fast’.
some food allergies are life threatening, some diseases preventible by readily available vaccines are life threatening. they are stamping out peanuts but they can’t stamp out the anti-vaccine nuts? i think PC thought has outlived its welcome.
I understand your comment. My problem is that I am an American who was born and raised in Michigan but has lived half of her life abroad. The reference to the peanuts actually happened in France, but it wasn’t peanuts, it was chocolate-filled croissants. French kids were bullied by Muslim kids during the Ramedam for eating during that period, and it made big news and is stilled referred to.The ‘scheduling’ was a poke at ISLAM and not to be taken first degree.Btw, I have read lots of your comments and agree with most of what you stand for.
