Patients who've only lost their lower legs are called "BK's," for below the knee. Sam: AK's get the cooler hardware, right? Zonker: Much cooler. It's actually pretty unfair.
Gary admitted in an interview that he had just started drawing BD without the knee one day, and didn’t realize it until a fan called him on it.
