Baker: My point, Madam, is that the Mid-East crisis is a very complicated matter! And frankly, open testimony to Congress only makes our job harder! Lacey: I see, Mr. Secretary. I wonder if, in your view, Congress has any role whatsoever to play in this unfolding tragedy? Baker: Yes, I believe it does. Lacey: And what would that be? Baker: Congress's role is to butt out.
