Well -Trump’s pretty much made it worthless by now so, yeah, I’d refuse it too.
I don’t see why he’s entitled to it!
He avoided being compared with Gym Jordan, proving he was as smart about the long term consequences of this “award” (tRump has likely permanently denigrated the previous value of the PMF) as he was about utilizing Tom Brady when he was qb of the Patriots.
I guess I could say “Good job, Dana, at not being obvious that you think Belichick shouldn’t refuse the medal, or anything else from the chosen one”.
He’s just suffering from post Brady depression.
Presidential Medal of Freedom used to mean something. Belichick probably didn’t want to be in the same club as Rush Limbaugh.
