Just what America needs, three more years for the GOP to stall things so that Obama will fail and (maybe) they can take back over and do – well do what? The same things they have done for 20 of the last 28 years. The same things that have caused the mess we are trying to get out of.
The millions of Americans without jobs and/or health care will just have to wait. Party Before Country!
I have to keep repeating the truth because you never give me an answer.
Here is the truth: The GOP was in charge for 8 years, during that time we were attacked by terrorist, we got into two wars, the National Debt went thru the roof, we borrowed billions & billions from China, and economy collapsed so that millions lost their jobs, homes, and health coverage.
We all well know that if this had happened when there was a Democratic President and a Democratic Congress you would be screaming your heads off, demanding that they all be thrown out of office, and that the Democratic Party be forced to disband for ever.
Yet, since all of this happened under the GOP you not only don’t think that they should be blamed, but that we should put them back into power.
HOW - No doubt the National Debt was increased, but is this any reason to let the GOP back in? What about my other points? They had 8 years, you can see their record, Obama has had one, and you want him out?
By the way WHOLE IS SPELLED WHOLE NOT HOLE.
HOLE IS WHAT THE GOP LEFT US IN.
You still haven’t answered my question of why let them back into power, all you did was attack Obama and liberials.
Ken, thinking is something lemmings don’t do very well. His answer is Obama did it. The last eight years were a black hole. Its the Democratic party’s fault. With the exception of Churchill to a degree most of these goobers don’t have a formal education. Their only source of edification is Beck, rush pillpoper, and the right wing rags called newspapers that tell them to rally against their own self interest.
Congress’ approval ratings are at an abysmal low because the Congressional process has been gummed up. In previous years the number of filibusters averaged ~50. That number has increased 300% since Republicans lost the Senate. Even approving national security positions has been taken hostage. The government’s process has effectively been stopped.
But not by Democrats.
Yet somehow… Republicans, who have stopped government from working effectively… can go back to their constituents and say “See, Government doesn’t work.” And yet… they’re the ones who broke it. And yet… their constituents will eat it up like gospel.
So, the Congress’ approval rating is at the historically low levels, because they couldn’t enact anything as important as Health Care Reform, Cap & Trade, and etc.
And, therefore, the public is increasingly turning to the GOP, so that they can enact those magnificent things …

To paraphrase Josef Goebbels:
If you repeat any story often enough, it will eventually become the truth.

Sure, peter. There are a lot of stories believed just because they have been told too often and debunked too seldom.
