While there are regional strongholds for enough gullible suckers to keep TrumpubliCONs in power locally, TrumpubliCONs know that, overall, there are more middle class working people than there are billionaires — more of us than them — and they CANNOT WIN ELECTIONS in general without massive cheating, fraud, computerized gerrymandering and, now we see, actual ballot tampering on a massive, long-time basis in North Carolina.
And first in North Carolina and now in Michigan and Wisconsin, we see that when they lose governorships, they simply respond in the lame duck sessions to take power away from the rightfully elected officeholders.
Today’s TrumpubliCON party is truly the party of Richard Nixon.
@jlocke: depends on what they are doing. A lot of this is getting struck down by the courts for being unconstitutional – which it is.
Also, I note you don’t even comment on whether it is WRONG or not. For the record, since you don’t seem to care: it is. And no, it has rarely been this egregious, certainly since the Watergate scandal led to a number of improved laws and practices.

There is nothing illegal about it, and these actions are unlikely to be overturned.
