Woman: Your twins are adorable! Are they normal? Eve: Excuse me?! Woman: They aren't autistic? Eve: It doesn't appear so, no. Woman: Whew! You dodged that bullet, huh? I mean, what if you'd had another Seth? Eve: We would've just gotten rid of him and tried again! Because who could ever love a less-than-perfect child? Not us! In fact, Seth's broken. You want him? Cheap? Woman: What? But he's your son! Eve: So my son's not a burden, and might actually be a cherished member of our family? Why, if that were true, your comments would be incredibly rude and offensive - don't you agree? Woman: Well, I just meant I couldn't handle it! Eve: Lucky for you, you don't have to. Hmph. I finally told off a moron, but I don't feel any better. Why'd I even bother? She could never understand. Manny: Well, only one in every 150 parents can.
