Mr. Pinkley: Cathy will now brief us on next week's visit from our client the lampwell group. Cathy: Thanks, Mr. Pinkley. As we all know, the lampwell people are deeply committed to progress and innovation. While our company still struggles with "dress down Friday", lampwell has moved on to "happy clothes Monday", "kick back Tuesday". "Get a life Wednesday" and "the inner jock Thursday". Each day has a hundred subtle distinctions that instantly brand the wearer as a hip, forward-thinking peer or a pitiful, grasping geek. Nothing we say in our presentation will matter if the lampwell group comes wearing cargo pants and tees...and we're all dressed like great-grandpa! Therefore, in the next three hours, I'll be reviewing the difference between "business casual","arty casual","elegant casual","sport casual","designer casual",and the "east coast casual" and "west coast casual" versions of all of the above casuals. Mr. Pinkley: But the WORK! What about the WORK?? Cathy: Excellent point. The real work will begin when we try to figure out the proper casual shoe and sock combinations...
