Dad: The day after Thanksgiving, your mother and I started piling all mail that wasn't Christmas-related over here...by December 5, all publications that weren't gift catalogs got dumped here...by December 12, every non-Christmas "to do" list was abandoned...every non-Christmas project was flung at random in a miscellaneous heap...cleaning up after the holidays is nothing. Cleaning up what happened before the holidays is the problem. Mom: At least we always go into the new year with a project.
