Maureen: I was devastated..heartbroken..a crushed, crippled, rotting waste-land of self-pity... Cathy: Oh, Maureen.. Maureen: And then I went back to the gym! Ta, Da! Cathy: Oh, no. Not you too. Andrea: I thought I'd never get over Tony..and then I started going back to the gym! Charlene: I thought I'd die without Bruce, until I went back to the gym! Cathy: Haven't you people ever heard of chocolate?? Every woman I know is recovering from a man by going back to the gym...and you're ruining it for the rest of us!! You've just been in a relationship! We haven't!! There's supposed to be at least a six-month period where you eat and look worse than we do before you launch yourself back on the market!! Quit exercising! Quit pumping! It's hard enough out there without competing with depression inspired muscle tone! Maureen: Wouldn't be so cranky if you were doing pilates. Cathy: Nobody leaves the table until you all eat dessert!
