a run in with a porcupine might have been less painful.
Tiger, tiger fast asleep
into your dreams Calvin will leap
when he acts like a nut
rip and tear his little butt.
The tail of Hobbes in the second panel! It shows the mood!
I seem to have that same problem when the call of MY cats soft tummies becomes too strong…
He Shouldn’t yell then he could have left hobbes sleeping or I think Calvin needs some pointy ends
LOL I love how hobbes’ tail always shows “expresion” when he is surprise, scared, happy etc. and I also loves Calvin expresion in panel 3… ops big mistake reverse, reverse, reverse… LOL love to be able to read Calvin nd Hobbes early in the morning,,, “I love the smell of a comics early in the morning” LOL
calvin seems like he’s always wanted to get revenge on hobbesso he tries to do the attack vice-versa.But,it fails!HA HA!I love how Hobbes tail changes with his emotion. great strip!
Let this be a lesson to you Calvin.
Well, you’re certainly no Gilbert Shelton.
What, exactly, was Calvin hoping to accomplish?
Payback!! Only it always backfires!! LOL
Third panel sees Calvin giving a good imitation of a bird, unfortunately he was overcome by gravity……..
how did that happen???????
hobbes is a STUFFED ANIMAL!!!!
Hobbes isn’t a stuffed animal!!!!!!!
Hahahahahaha, I have 3 cats…yes, they have pointy bits everywhere, beware sleeping kitty with one eye open.
“Hobbes isn’t a stuffed animal!!!!!!!”
Nope, he sure isn’t! He only looks that way to others, or when Calvin has been feeding him tuna sandwiches….
Let sleeping tigers lie.
The black and white stars trailing after Calvin in the last panel is a nice touch. Also, if Hobbes wanted to, he could sharpen his tail and there would be six pointy ends! Mwah-ha-ha-haaaa..
His eye does look half open in the first panel
Nevertheless, Tigers are pointy but exuberant!
Nevertheless, Tigers are pointy but exuberant!……..
but somewhat edgy when startled.
It reminds me of Inspector Clouseau and Kato.
