Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for October 05, 1995
Transcript:
Susie Derkins (friend): Hi, Calvin. Have you started your leaf collection yet? Calvin: I've been visualizing the conceptualization process. That's the hard part. Susie Derkins (friend): I'm almost done. Isn't it fun? It's like a treasure hunt! Calvin: A treasure hunt?!? Are you crazy?? This is a stupid, boring, time-wasting forced assignment! This isn't fun! Susie Derkins (friend): "When life gives you a lemon, make lemonade." Calvin: I say, when life gives you a lemon, wing it right back and add some lemons of your own!
I once heard that if life gives you lemons, you should find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.
