Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for April 17, 1988
Transcript:
Calvin: I call this "lookout" hill. Hobbes: Yes, you can certainly see far from up here. Calvin: I call it "lookout" hill because that's what you yell whenever we go down it. You know, sometimes it seems things go by too quickly. We're so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us that we don't take the time to enjoy where we are. Days go by and we hardly notice them. Life becomes a blur. Often it takes some calamity to make us live in the present. Then suddenly we wake up and see all the mistakes we've made. But it't too late to change anything. It's like...it's like... Hobbes: It's like what? Calvin: It's like something I just can't think of it.

If Calvin can somehow get up his grades, he could become a great philosopher :P

Why do they always have philosophical moments when they’re plummeting to their doom?
