Ya know, I liked it better in the days when diseases had names instead of acronyms. Like the creeping crud, or the trots, or you could have one named after a famous baseball player.

You mean Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS)? The funny thing is that doctors now suspect that Lou Gehrig didn’t have ALS – it would have been a misdiagnosis at the time.
