Thomas Jefferson, Founding Father by Nate Wright
Nate says, "The woman asked for a 500-word essay, and I gave her a 500-word essay!" Principal Nichols says, Sit down, son."
Nate could’ve made his essay longer without the need for filler if he added more facts. He could’ve explained why he did the things he did or what specific contributions he made to the Declaration of Independence. He could’ve also explained Jefferson’s controversial acts, like how he claimed to be an abolitionist although he was a huge slave owner, or how he supported the French but also did things that supported the British (both were enemies at the time).

His hands look like they’re 2-D, on paper, smushed, etc. in the final panel. (Nate’s, not P.N.)
