    I have to take my retirement check in person to the bank.

    Why you ask? It is too small to go by itself ..

    I let my retirement pension be sent directly to the bank. I’m just as ashamed of it as the company is.

    It’s like Jay once said, what you need to do is avoid red flags. For example, if you have any money left over after paying your taxes, that’s a red flag.
