   Unfortunately, I’ve found that most places DO sell stinky buns. It’s rare to find any quality food anymore. I only buy pastries where I know for a FACT that they’re made that morning. The drawback! Everyone I know knows it, too so you have to get there early. AND, they are a bit pricey.

    I was in Okinawa a few years ago and there is a little place that sold (among other breakfast items) tuna danishes and tuna doughnuts. Yes, you read that correctly: TUNA DANISH & TUNA DOUGHNUTS. Nobody from our group was brave enough to try them.

    so if you want something stinky - “stink tofu” (smells like a sewer and I CANNOT understand what makes it an item that SELLS in Chinese groceries - no, I’m not going to try it. Kimchee is OK (like limburger) but this stink tofu stuff REALLY STINKS

    I can imagine a tuna BAGEL - sounds OK. In Hawaii, they do SPAM sushi
