    I had to keep looking back to make sure they didn’t say It was done by Jim Davis as associates. the ladies do look like Jon’s girlfriend also.

    Thanks for this history. It is really great to find out how a strip developed over time. I had no idea it went as far back as it did.

    I don’t just say this as the current artist, but I’m kind of glad that this period of the strip did not last longer. I really don’t like those huge, ten pound lips on the women.

    Like so many others, I noticed the resemblance to Jon Arbuckle immediately. If this was in color, it COULD be Jon.

    That little Roy toy is adorable. If I collected stuff, that would be one of the things on my shelf.
