The evolution of the comic continues. Very interesting.

There are two basic kinds of working spaces — high rise slums and urban sprawl.

Keep it going, guys. It’s fun to read the history.

I think this series really shows off Scott’s ability to mimic other styles.

Interesting, I have to see where this goes now.

Absolutely, Scott’s brilliant. Having a few miles on me, I’ve seen those styles evolve throughout my life and he’s done a fine job mimicking them.

It’s called “cliché” and it’s not funny. Normally I look forward to the Sunday funnies, but not with this strip.

With so many styles, I can’t imagine how hard this is to draw. Some folks just can’t appreciate that, I guess. Either that, or their ‘Christmas spirit’ has left the building.

Oh, we have a Grinch among us! Did you notice that other people are enjoying it? If you’re not, we’re sorry. But your first remark is stated as a fact, when in actuality, it’s only your opinion. Sorry we failed to please you. Should we all stop?

Based on the strip’s history, and the research Malcolm has gathered, I’d guess about there’ll be seven more Sundays at least.

Everybody can’t enjoy everything. That, however, does not make it their duty to try to spoil it for those who do.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you are a very tiny minority. I think these Sunday strips are terrific and I will be sad to see them end. No one forces you to read these.

OK, the rightmost panel with Jay reminds me of the Professor at his desk in “Shoe” by Jeff MacNelly. Had that scruffy look in the late 70s

I wish they still called him ‘Perfessor.’ ‘Cosmo’ isn’t as funny.

There should be 18 before we come back to John Zakour and Andre Noel. And yes, we will visit Andre’s time on the strip, and Kyle Miller’s. Malcolm will hand-pick samples of their work that many of you may remember.
