    I think in these times of hidden Depression, more people want escapist entertainment again. What goes around comes around.

    Working Daze as Soap Opera? Are we going to see Dana toweling off after a shower the way we always did Margo in “Apartment 3-D?”

    @Kim Metzger

    We only have the samples that Malcolm provided. Nothing like that in them.

    @Kim Metzger – not so much the strip as a soap but more like the soap is about the creation of the strip.

    John/Scott – was really uncertain about this ‘history’ arc when you started it but I’m not looking forward to the next part. Keen to see what the final few parts consist of.

    Um — is there a chance Dana heard me? I seem to now be some kind of rodent.

    But… you said you’re ‘not’ looking forward to it… At any rate, I peeked ahead, and by 2008, it seems some guys named Zakour and Roberts were working on it.

    @Thomas Scott Roberts… from his last sentence. I’d bet MarauaderDeuce inadvertently typed ‘not’ instead of ‘now.’ At least that’s how I’d take it, if I was you. I’m not, of course, but give a guy a chance…

    I am enjoying this history. It’s interesting to see the characters go through different phases of’ being.’ I do mean the way they are drawn by each artist, as well as the humor of the strip itself.

    I love this concept and will be sorry to see it end. Great work guys!

    There are still a few decades to cover! And artists and writers started to change a lot in the 80’s and 90’s

    Yeah, I knew he meant ‘now.’ I was ribbing him, because its the kind of typo I make all the time.

    Yes- the change in art is easy to see, but the change in writing is significant too, and is always a product of the times in which the strips appeared.

    Yep that sounds like something Dana would do. :)

    I like the bonus content and cartoons for those of us who already have a copy of “Hardly Working”. Thank you for that.

    The two guys in the first panel look familiar. I think I’ve seen them or somebody who looks like them in another strip.

    Of course they do. They’re Roy and Jay.
