No wonder there’s no room for a USA ball.

So what would a Republican President do? I’m thinking (my opinion) airstrikes and boots on the ground. Here we go again…
Obama might go the airstrikes, logistics, and intelligence assistance route, but it’s apparent that Islamist thugs are real good at scaring the bejusus (no pun intended) out of the Iraqi “army”.
Get ready, here come the chicken hawks again. “We need to fight them over there so we don’t have to fight them over here!” I’m sure that (this time) they’d welcome us with flowers and open arms… for one or two weeks, until the hemorrhaging begins again.

dem, rep, whatever. we should have tried a little harder to get that ‘hold harmless’ agreement signed. and i am wondering about our vaunted NSA. maliki says the gulf states are sponsoring this incursion. did we know that?

Just a note on historical accuracy: “W” couldn’t handle Texas, let alone Afghanistan and Iraq, or any other foreign involvements. HIs dad wasn’t that great either, think Panama, but at least when HE screwed up in Iraq, he got other nations to ACTUALLY form a REAL coalition, rather than a “coalition of the willing”, who actually weren’t in any logistically viable sense, other than Britain.(Who did MUCH better with their area of Iraq than we did. )

Another note: ISIS is one of the groups fighting against the Assad regime, whom chickenhawks and righties said we should support, riiiiiggghhhttt! The Middle East and Balkans were left so in control by Bush. Right.

The truth is this is what happens when you play world cop for 60yrs. Has any noticed that none of the allies want to touch Syria, Iraq or Iran, Ukraine. After all they have more to lose than the US in oil and gas,if the region falls. Blame who ever you wish for but doesn’t change a thing. it a bigger problem than just a US problem.
