I wouldn’t have ever worried about that chickenhawk being in a foxhole with me. NOR of course any of the TEA party brigade.

There ARE members of Congress who served, or had their kids there more recently, but they’re rare. Interesting that it IS those, like McCain, who are getting most fed up with them!!

What’s astonishing is that people that have actually served in the military support these ChickenHawks.
    -
Remember, the basic Fox “news” viewer still believes that Saddam was involved in the 9/11 attacks.

Not that we’ll see Reid being a leader or sticking his neck out for anyone but those who give him money.

Gerrymandering has created situations like Pennsylvania’s. Obama won 52 percent of the 2012 vote state-wide but the House delegation has 13 Republicans and 5 Democrats. How’s that working out for the Country? How’s about non-partisan commissions draw up the voting districts, eh? Isn’t it about time democracy meant what the Constitution says? How’s about everyone eligible to vote is REQUIRED to vote or face a fine? Maybe then the RePubs would concentrate on making the Constitution work as written, instead of undermining it, form and content, for their own little talk radio purposes.

Oooohh, so Saddam was not involved in the 9/11 attacks?
    -
Gosh, why did we invade Iraq, then?

The lies people like you will tell, and the way they use the language to promote their twisted tales.
“Thursday, the Dow plunged below 15,000.”
The Dow dropped 136.6 to 14,996, a drop of less than 1%, a quite common variable.
If you consider a drop of less than 1% a “plunge,” then you must be one of those “nervous Nelly” investors that make the Stock Market such a roller coaster ride.
Or did you use the term “plunge” simply to back up what was otherwise a hollow and untrue claim, that Obama’s words caused a serious flux in the Stock Market?
Your lies are clear and all-too-obvious, and your attempts to demonize the Democrats for this shut down are equally insipid and grotesque.
The Tea Party will have to accept the blame they so richly deserve for this mess, but if it comes down to that they’ll fall back on the term “Slim Down” to cover their crimes.
If it’s Obama’s fault, it’s the most horrible thing that ever happened ever to anyone, but if it’s the Tea Party’s, then it’s just a minor cutback for everyone’s benefit.
How do you dare to expound on these kinds of endless and obvious lies?

Fox News has repeatedly claimed a link between Saddam Hussein & Al Qaeda. Fox News viewers continue to believe this, even when presented with the facts.

Night Gaunt was probably joking, but 20% of Republicans do believe Obama is the Antichrist. Google it.

Republicans forced the shutdown because the Democrats refused to negotiate a delay of the ACA. Show proof that the Democrats refused to negotiate on the actual spending bill.

You can’t. What is obvious, is that the Republicans don’t even know what they want. Other than a few massively deluded members of Congress, the GOP knows it can’t stop the ACA. But they need something to make this mess seem worthwhile.

Nancy Pelosi never let the more strident Liberals ever tell her what to do, unlike coward boehner.

Didn’t Barney Frank & Dennis Kucinich shutdown government over marriage equality? /sarcasm

“Every liberal democrat wants Bohner dead.”

Still crazy, after all these posts, I see. I’d be fine if Boehner put a clean bill up for vote. Given his likely replacement, I hope he keeps the gavel until the Democrats retake the House.

I have seen results of some surveys, but I won’t chase down any link(s). Uncle Joe has a good response.
    -
Anyway, Fox “news” never did a survey like that, to my knowledge, and only polls conducted by (or at least published by) Fox “news” are unbiased, right?
    -
I’ve also seen surveys that indicate Fox “news” viewers still believe that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, including a nucular program, Harley, Tigger, and a few others among our posters here.
    -
About half of Louisiana Republicans believe that Obama was responsible for the slow FEMA response after hurricane Katrina.
    -
Many Fox “news” viewers on these boards also believe that Obama was responsible for the economy tanking in 2007 and 2008 and that the bank bailout was also Obama’s idea.
    -
That’s not even counting the Birthers, who are strangely silent these days.
