    Getting the most votes (whether popular or electoral) is only part of it – the next is to make sure each vote is counted – and that the Supreme Court doesn’t overrule those votes.

    Actually Toles should have had Ryan in the picture making that quip since he did say something similar about running a marathon in under two hours. So funny how the corrupt republicans are trying to turn a major electoral college beat down into a close race. Love how they hate Nate Silver’s accurate prediction of 4 more years for Obama by a large margin in the electoral college.

    Final 2000 Electoral College Tally:

    Bush 271-11 = 260
    Gore 266 +11 = 277

    Tennessee has 11 Electoral Votes, had Gore carried Tennessee, where he served as Congressman and Senator, he would have been President in 2000 without Florida.
