Since the dems have had NO budget since the transparent Obama took office they have to find some way to blame the Republicans for the liberals failures.

The colorist slipped up. Boehner should be his usual Oompa-Loompa orange.

Obama said that he would not allow a repeat of the last fiasco. what did he mean? will he make a deal and stick to it? How will he get harry to comply?

Dubya never had a budget either.
Well, he did, but it left out little details like TWO WARS.

“How will he get harry to comply?”

He needs to worry more about the Republican refusal to compromise and their publicly stated goal to drive him out of office even if they hurt the country in the process.

Just because “Dubya” was a crappy prez doesn’t make Obama any better.

How do you compromise with fuzzy, impractical proposals? You have no place to start the compromise process.

Good one and very true. When the terrorists attacked us in 2001, I was somewhat in awe of the restraint he displayed with respect to retaliation. It was a gamble on his part, and I personally thought we should go in and smoke them all. I thought that his actions following that day would either make him a great president, or mediocre. Too bad it went to the second description. What happened later in his administration with Cheney at the reigns doomed him, and it was all downhill from there. The Republicans lost sight of what this country needs, and they passed by the “little man” in order to foster ideas of big business and how it is good for the country and the economy. Problem was, and is, that big business took the money and ran, out of the country, overseas, whatever, and left the little guy holding the bag and the tab. Too bad they can’t work together for the common good instead of their own financial well being. That thought cost the Republicans big time in 2008, and it will continue to bite them as long as they shun the little guy.
I am registered as a Republican, because as an independent, I do not get to see all the candidates on a ballot, but I vote for whom I feel will best represent us, not gouge us. In 2008 I voted for Nader just because I did not like either candidate of the big parties.

If you’d stop bailing off threads every time one of us debunks that lie, you might see that yes, the Dems have proposed budgets

No Jase99, the problem will be to get Harry to bring any compromise to the floor for a vote.

There was a compromise – including tax increases – the first time. But Harry said no deal unless the rich get dinged extra. so Obama back out of the deal.

    Well, will he deal?
