Nah, it’s pretty easy to see, only lefties want to make it seem complicated.

Very good ‘toon. Can be said of just about any national security agency.

I believe this was the exact same line used by the Bush administration, meaning that “only righties want to make it seem complicated” is equally true.

Interesting that HabaneroBuck says the solution is easy…
…but not so easy that he could tell us what it is.

I know…just before the terrorist-carrying planes land, we’ll unplug the runway lights!

On the April 15 before Oklahoma City, Timothy McVeigh was saying bad things about the US. We need to arrest everyone with bad thoughts about the US every April 15, and we can drastically reduce criminal violence against the US.
And since foreign terrorists with permanent visas also think bad thoughts about the US on April 15, we can arrest them too (except for my Jordanian friend who has arranged for all his income to be paid directly into his Jordanian account where the IRS can’t see it, so he just says he had no income and doesn’t need to file).
Had the US done this before 9/11, the World Trade Center would have been completely deserted, and the attack would have been thwarted.

And the WTC would have been at least three-quarters empty, too. No point in attacking it then!

Just look at the added departments under “homeland Security” by the Bush administration, and try to follow the organizational chart- head swimmingly stupid indeed. Yep, them was the “small govmint” dudes and dudettes.

You know it makes you wonder what the requirements are for joining Al Queada. You know, the master minds who with precision caused 9/11. So far everyone with the trade mark name who’s been caught has had bombs in their shoes, in their underwear, or has been caught without doing anything.
In other words the way they have been caught is laughable compared to the way they allegedly hit us.

I’m not sure I follow your last sentence, legendary. Do you mean something this: in contrast to the supposed genius of Al Queda’s attacks on us, the fact that these last few have been captured with laughable ease suggests that they’re not hiring the brightest bulbs on the circuit? I mean, really. Richard Reid tried to light plastique with a match. What a moron.
