    1) Get the person out of the water. 2) Rinse with vinegar. Do NOT rinse with fresh water (lights up the stinging cells). 3) Scrape with credit card, cardboard, etc. to remove nematocysts. 4) Antibiotic ointment and hydrocortisone. GREAT STRIP TODAY, KEN – sent it to my lovely wife. Traveling together sounds good, no?!

    Yes they are. If you are lost in the woods and haven’t eaten for days a good lick of a slug will help keep you alive. Apparently, it’s the (ugh!) slime, that is protein rich.
