    Rather a tree hugger that will chain themselves to a tree than an idiot that spikes a tree. Spiking is just plain premediated murder. Those spikes remain in the tree until it decomposes back into the ground.

    By the way, other than providing shade and homes for numerous birds, animals and insects, trees clean pollutants from your air and provide the air you breathe.
