    Not only that, but there are more than 40 others written by other authors including the illustrator of those 13 books. I believe they’ve tried to make movies out of some of those books, but all were done badly and flopped. I want to make a movie out of the original book AS IT WAS ACTUALLY WRITTEN.

    This ending works! After all it was established early on in the film, that wearing those slippers was dangerous for that very reason.

    I’ve noticed that reading a book before seeing the movie always makes the movie disappointing. I prefer the reverse.
