    Atlatl

    Firmer chisel

    Brad awl

    I have never liked “rap,” but to call a practitioner a tool is just a gratuitous insult.

    I still have a Brad Awl in my tool bag, have to admit don’t think I’ve used it since I got a pneumatic Brad nail gun.

    We tried using an atlatl in an anthropology class I had in college. It’s a weapon, not really a tool.

    I can think of other tools. Justin Bieber for one.

    This is the longest ‘5 minutes’ I’ve ever known!

    At least they didn’t list the band Tool in this.
    Does anyone have information as to which is a better weapon, the atlatl or the bow and arrow?

    @Bruno Zeigerts

    They don’t use the atlatl any more, so I’m guessing the bow and arrow is better, maybe easier to learn.

    I gather the atlatl is a South American version of the woomera.

    In the late 50’s, we used Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer. Very effective on both “mugs” and “skirts”.

    Alexikakos & briatollah, the atlatl is also a dog toy, then. I know a guy who uses a large spoon as an ersatz atlatl to throw a ball for his big, fast dog to chase.
