Has anyone questioned what’s going on between the caveman and the sheep in the “Caption Contest” banner?

I too love crossovers. They are so much fun. In fact I collect them wherever I can. Now if someone could just publish a compilation of them would be marvelous.

Apparently there is something in this cartoon that is beyond me having to do with television or movies or something that I know nothing about.
