Mr Rall must have been reading Er ist wieder da: Der Roman von Timur Vermes.

(Obviously, it has something to do with a Roman, but, since I can’t read German, I’m not sure exactly WHICH Roman it’s about.)

When Ted can’t come up with an idea he just complains about stuff and throws Hitler in.

I thought Pol Pot had already been reincarnated as Pepe LaPierre, since he’s so supportive of genocide…

“When Ted can’t come up with an idea he just complains about stuff and throws Hitler in.”

Red light cameras, license scanners, web connected security cameras, gps on phones, NSA monitoring, commercial enterprise tracking on the web accessible by government, slow militarization of police forces, police pushing for drone usage, Increased police misconduct, etc. What would it take for you to believe that Ted’s cartoon is not completely out of line; the Gestapo dragging your significant other out of your home at 4:00 A.M.?

We have to stop the terrorists from destroying our freedoms! Even if it means we destroy them first!

Hitler started out smart, then he thought he could fight a war and ignore his generals. If he hadn’t been stupid then the war could have turned out very differently. After 1942, the English stopped trying to assassinate him because of it.

What he is saying that Hitler or any other dictator would make good use of the technology. More people recognize Hitler, a short but burned bright dictator than Stalin, Lenin, Mao & Idi Amin.

    .
    “Roman” is German for “novel.”
Thus, the title of the book is: He is here again: The Novel.

On the Military Channel recently, they showed a doctored photo of Hitler without his moustache. He looked SO ORDINARY; A German of that time might have passed him on the street and not recognized him!

Did you really think Michael didn’t know what ‘roman’ meant in German?

The English title is “He’s back”. But I’m sure you knew that. Not all translations will have literal translations, often figurative translations will work better in the translated text.

I have to agree with Michael, I guess Ted’s just read He’s back” which must have spawned this ’toon.

Btw, elsewhere Michael was the person who let me know of the English edition. ;-)
