No, just babbling nonsense and rightwing paranoid fantasies as usual.

“Then the report came out that during most of the mission he was in the back playing cards with the help.”

Once a mission starts, there is nothing that anyone from the mission commander on up the chain of command can do except sit back and watch, play cards, watch TV, or pace the floor. Even Ike didn’t have anything to do once the D-Day invasion started.

I’ve heard a rumor that Afgan women are now booking drone strikes for their weddings!

“So what was his excuse on 9 11 12?”

Although I do agree with you that the response on Benghazi was very poorly handled,Harley, I’m not quite sure what this has to do with my response to your other post.

While I DO question the intel behind some drone strikes, and DO NOT like the use of drones over foreign sovereign soil, even to get a dozen or so “bad guys”, and the tragedy of a couple dozen “bystanders”, compare that to the killing of hundreds of thousands of “civilians” with “shock and awe”, and carpet bombing with B-52s and B-2s.

Sometimes the question of “ethics” butts head-on with the reality of “stupidity”.

Need we remind folks that “W” was cutting brush in Texas while “shock and awe” was happening, as he was through most of his TWO tragic and stupidly started, and run, wars? But it was okay, because Rummy assured us that those looters in Baghdad, as we shut down their police force and cooperative military, were just driving by the cameras repeatedly to make Bush “look bad”.

And Rush’s version (along with other RWNJs) of Benghazi had nothing at all to do with the reports coming out at the time, and whether demonstrations that WERE occurring in Egypt and TRIPOLI LIBYA, were actually going on in Benghazi is totally irrelevant. “The truth is out there”, and it isn’t in “x-files”, but isn’t heeded in the bloviating blogosphere that IS RWNJ radio.

Ah, the old “we have to kill them there or they’ll kill us here” argument. But that brings the question… who’s “them”? Brown people, or terrorists?
Ah, but of course, to some people, in that last sentence I’m repeating myself….

“What happened in Libya was not an impeachable offense.”

Attempting to divert responsibility onto former Ambassador Stevens for his own death is a blatant attempt at diverting liability from the State Department where it belongs. Reports by Thomas Pickering and Mark Sullivan place the responsibility directly on the State Department.
