    Our brave new world has arrived and only 29 years too late.

    @ConserveGov

    I can’t believe that someone would actually quote that semi-literate buffoon except for satirical purposes.

    I object to the phrase “brave new world”. This is just the same old “let’s buy off our enemies” world, no real change.

    Wal-Mart is hiring contortionists and gymnasts? What’s the deal with that?

    Ted, it is about time to resurrect Latin for this purpose.

    “What’s with the “Brave New World” references? … ensure world order to the privacy intrusive nature of PRISM 1984 style?

    I am making figurative reference to books which may fit the corporate/government ‘New World Order’ paradigm.

    Catch 22 is a most quotable book. It really grows on you as you age, and realize just how right Heeler was in that book.

    The date was never a prediction, it was a warning. So is “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

    The hope of the Plutocrats to continuing to change our nation continues. Been doing so since 1980.

    Absolutely, and always say, “T.S. Eliot” to authority figures!

    What is this, nit-picker’s day? You’ve cured me of making literary references.

    Do we need a Department of Euphemisms added to the Executive Branch? Might create a few new jobs, and the pay would certainly be better than anything Wallyworld offers.
