    The hard life of a Drone Killer pilot who goes home everyday to his wife and children. Thank god for robotics and the imperial version of Manifest Destiny.

    @Ms. Ima

    The Pakistanis weren’t “killing each other” at least not in the way citizens of the USA kill each other.

    I don’t know. Considering the history of Pakistan, I think the Pakistani HAVE been killing each other over the past few millennia pretty effectively!

    Well, as is often the case lma’s best point isn’t the one he was trying to make.

    Pakistan has historically been civilized & relatively calm. They’ve had the mixed fortunes that go along with being the gateway to India from the west. Most of Pakistan is urban. The hill tribes of the northwest region along the border with Afghanistan are not representative of most of the country.

    You might say that Waziristan is separate in everything but independence.

    I’m enjoying these. Funny stuff. I think Ted is still having fun with the whole Drone medal thing…

    “Pakistan” per se hasn’t even been around for 100 years, let alone millennia…

    Ted, on the lighter side.Last week, the U.S. computer security firm Mandiant tracked a Chinese hacker group called the Comment Group or Comment Crew to a neighborhood in Shanghai housing unit 61398, a bureau of the People’s Liberation Army(PLA) General Staff Department’s Third Department. Chinese hackers have adeptly gathered gigabytes of data on industrial secrets,military hardware,and government strategy for political negotiations. www.sciencemag.org, Science Vol339,March 1st,2013 " A Call to Cyber Arms" by Richard Stone

    So my point is that keyboard awards outside of the U.S. seem to be going to the Chinese, at least for now. The Israelis have been there as well, at our expense. But I know you already know more about this than I do.

    Pakistan isn’t under usual times. War both civil and from the USA and their drone strikes.

    Ted, what do you think about Rand’s stand up routine regarding John Brennan’s appointment? Although it exposed a very telling response from the administration.
