Mr Rall continues his campaign to get Americans to see their government’s drone policies from the Pakistani perspective.
As his cartoon from Wednesday shows, he’s having as much success as someone trying to sell crude oil and women’s rights to Saudi Arabia.

Maybe you should pay more attention. Check out the last panel. The new medal proposed by Leon Panetta is a disgrace to the men and women who serve on the front lines. My father received the Purple Heart in WWII, and this medal is equivalent to awarding an artillaryman who fires from miles away with no return fire a higher award.

Target shooting should only merit a marksmanship badge.

And I thought what was childish was thinking it’s OK to send remote-controlled death planes halfway around the world to kill people we can’t see.

Not only the Purple Heart. The new drone medal actual outranks the Bronze Star, which has been awarded to soldiers who gave their lives.

Why is Leon Panetta Defense Secretary?
Because the idiot Republicans delayed Chuck Hagel’s nomination.

Also: No love for “NSA insurgents” and “Amerrorists”? You don’t get that from Mike Ramirez every day.

Keep it up, Ted. Next step: give the medal to a corporation which outsources to Chinese prisoners to do their online work: both combat and astroturfing

It may be nonsense but it is rather humorous.

Is Vermont really the place for such a hero to be conducting his patrols?

@Ted Rall
At best it should rank down there as a commendation medal.
