   Michael Vick…biggest jerk that ever played ball. And “jerk” is a lot nicer than he deserves. And whomever hired him back to play pro ball after his disgusting animal abuses is a jerk too.

   I guess Deborah that you are in favor of the death penalty. This is obvious as to you no one can ever pay his debt to society and earn a right to a second chance. Have you ever had a speeding ticket? Maybe the dept of motor vehicles should take away your right to drive permanently. And before anyone attacks me here let me say that I understand that the analogy breaks down significantly but my point is this, HE WENT TO PRISON. It’s over. Drop it and let the man earn a living. He plays football. If he worked in a factory and was guilty of this would you disallow him getting another job in a factory? Get over it.’

   This process should be shut down immediately, with the award given to Dan Snyder by acclamation. Even in D.C. it is hard to top Albert Haynesworth and Mike Shanahan for being sports jerks, but Snyder transcends national boundaries to be a major international sports jerk. I plan to donate a significant amount of money to the upcoming Washington City Paper legal defense fund, mainly so that with legal discovery all of the accusations against Snyder, they can be proven true, an excellent defense under American law to libel. And, as a Jew, I am very offended by the Simon Weisenthal Center’s portrayal of that cartoon as anti-Semitic. Especially for the owner of the Washington Racists. Snyder insists that a look at the history of the team will show that it isn’t racist. Seriously??? In a town where African-Americans buy more Cowboys and Raiders logoed material than anywhere but Dallas and Oakland, because of long term hard feelings about the Washington Racists being the last team in professional football to allow African-Americans to play??? The single most racist team historically, with the most offensive and racist name today, and Snyder is offended by being portrayed with devil’s horns??

    Snyder is certainly a viable candidate. But he owns, doesn’t play, so he should get his on “jerk of the year” award.

    Dan Snyder gets my vote! What a maroon! Because he owns a sports team, imho he qualifies for the award.
