Rose is Rose presents the extraordinary nature of everyday life as seen through the eyes of the Gumbo family. The strip stars child-at-heart Rose and her ASD (Attentiveness Surplus Disorder) husband Jimbo. Their gentle son Pasquale is watched over by his Guardian Angel who morphs from tiny cherub into gargantuan protector. Family kitten Peekaboo boasts that her humans are the cutest in town. Readers relish the romance in Rose and Jimbo's marriage, yet cheer the emergence of Rose's rebel alter ego, the fearless, wild and ready-to-roll Vicki the Biker

Oh boy, I wouldn’t want to be the kid of the parent who actually did that…..

Oh, the kids ALL know about Mrs. Gumbo.
A few may mock, but most of them wish THEIR Mom was more like her!
(I mean RATTLESNAKE Chilli, that’s WAY up at the top of the Cool-O-Meter!)

Actually, last year there was a man who wore a different costume each day and waved goodbye to his son, who was riding the bus, and it ended up on the national news at one point.
I’ve seen the pictures and I actually followed it since I was interested to see what sort of costume he would wear next.

Most kids would be embarrassed to death, but Pasquale is an extraordinary kid. Remember, he loves to get homework!

Should your dreams always point north?

I think her message encouraged the entire busload of kids (maybe even the driver). At 6 I don’t think any kid actually would be embarrassed by that, no at 10 or 16, definitely. That’s when it really gets fun for the parents MWAHAHAHA!

I had parents always involved with my classes. I was never ashamed or embarassed. I knew they loved me and were there to make sure everyone involved in any activity they had contact with would know what was needed and that they would do their best to make it happen. If we had been a bunch of sorry people, they would not have been as involved. No I am not a looser – have lived a very happy life. Rose is the same!

John, I will bet you nobody reading this has any clue as to what you meant. And don’t tell me “Google is your firend”. Don;’t post things that people will likely not understand. Always explain your terms.
For everyone else, John likely meant “gag me with a spoon”. And I absolutely concur.
