Wait….wait…didn’t he just say that it was NOT his idea to suggest a “red line” but it was the international community and the Congress of the US that made that bold statement?

Forget the stupid “red line” !! Obama has done most of his promises. No president has a perfect record.

We DON’T Want this stupid WAR!
We don’t control how long we would be there, IRAN WILL!
They have sworn to make us a REAL War if we send this missile strike!

Drawing the line, and the box, wasn’t brilliant, but listening to Limbaugh, and others, declaring that Rumsfeld was “brilliant” in drawing us into a funnel into the sewer of TWO stupid, irrational wars! is totally absurd! Now the same folks who killed hundreds of thousands, destroyed two nations (overtly, and others covertly) are supposed to be “leaders”???

Bullpucky is splattered over way too many “thinkers” today!

Quite amazing that America would vote to go on a disastrous wild goose chase for WMD in 2003 with no credible evidence and then maybe vote against intervention now when the bodies of men, women, and children are piled up in rows. Thus sending the message to tyrants they have a free hand to develop and use WMDs against civilian populations. Billions spent on “the war on terror”, and then give a free pass to this terrorist act and crime against humanity. Not just America’s problem, but it is America that has the military capability to lead with surgical strikes.

spin spin spin Doc. The man in all his thug glory laid down a challenge. Someone decided to see just how far Obama will go.

But Obama’s not back on the block, it’s the big boys now.

I listened to him say it. There was no mention of the Geneva Protocol at the time, just Obama saying the use of chemical weapons would “change my calculus”.

One should be sure of their foundation before one makes bold statements whether or not they are based in solid international law.

It is my understanding the Syria is one of a few countries that did not sign that agreement, plus the agreement does not include use within your country during civil war.

nice try but ….nope……spin spin spin

Tyrants all over the world are breathing a sigh of relief. If this use of WMD goes unchallenged, it is open season to commit whatever atrocities are needed to maintain dominance.
While the International community spends trillions on the “war on terror”, little old ladies and children continue to remove their shoes of possible explosive devices before boarding airplanes….. and the bodies of innocent citizens pile up because American led deterrence against actual terrorism goes unanswered because “it won’t work”, or “its not our problem.”

I’m glad he went to Congress, but he never should have said it. Agree with Skeptical on that! However, Mr. Not Suffering needs to take a look at what Obama WANTED vs. what Congress blockaded! And if he does an “Executive Order” to get what he promised, they bitch about that too!
