Red, he’s not a number…he is a free Santa!

Sorry, no, he is not a free Santa. I know, I am Santa 76,390 (we apprenticed together); we all serve an indenture…it’s the Santa clause in our contract.

I’ve actually come up with a plot for another Tim Allen Movie,
“Santa Clause 4: The Performance Clause”
The problem is that if a kid does Ten years – straight, on the “Good” list, he HAS to grant their most sincerely-held wish. The Girl in question lives in a small NY apartment, she wants a Horse!
(There IS an actual REAL WORLD solution to this, but there’s plenty of interesting twists and turns ’til Tim finds it.)

I give Red credit, but I hope he isn’t trying to give to all 76,395 plus Santa’s in the US.

Remember that the head man of the Salvation Army earns about $13,000 a year. And the head of the American Red Cross “earns” over $1,000,000 a year. The Salvation Army gets my donation every time. As a 15 year Red Cross volunteer, the will never get another dime from me.

I can’t remember the last time that I saw a Salvation Army volunteer at a kettle wearing either a Santa Claus suit or a SA uniform. Soldiers and officers (yes, they use those terms) of the SA do have military-style uniforms and carry military-style ranks.
