Wow, how great Will Henry is to us! Not only to give us the tremendous Wallace the Brave, but to interact with us as he did on May 2, and I just read that he will honor us with an hour meet-and-greet at the Narragansett library on May 15!

Thank you, yes, will spread the word about online access. And I am happy to say that this morning’s paper had a very nice front page featured story about Will Henry and Wallace the Brave, a good length interview on page 2, and a commitment to publish on Sundays also!

Wallace the Brave was my favorite current comic strip when The Providence Journal newspaper of Rhode Island, as part of Gannett, stopped printing Wallace the Brave on January 15. I was one of the more than 200 subscribers that wrote or called (I wrote) the Regional Executive Editor who announced the change to implore Wallace be brought back. The paper made the good decision to listen to its readers and publish the comic. Today was it’s first day back, though in black and white, on page 2, and we might never see the Sunday strip. A small victory. At least I had already been reading online to fully enjoy all the wonderful details. Thank you, Will Henry, for this tremendous comic strip!
